"Kvällen till ära
får två låtar från senaste skivan liveluft och den
andra ”The Elephants run” är en riktig koloss där Confusions
manglar på och frontmannen Mikael Andersson-Knut är precis sådär
rockigt kaxig som sig bör.
För att få igång publiken utlovar han också skivor till den som ”röjer mest” och tar också med sig micken ut bland åskådarna i sann allsångsmanér.
Efter
monsterhiten ”The Pilot” betats av och avslutande ”The story
behind the story” urartat har rutinerade The Confusions återigen bjudit
på en riktig kanonspelning. Materialet från nya skivan är
dessutom riktigt starkt live – nu händer det väl ändå..."

Time to celebrate our record label Massproduktion 30 year anniversary party!
At the 21st of April The Confusions spent the nigth at SVT2 talkshow "Eftersnack" where the band did an interview and played the song "Whatever Money Can Buy" acoustic.
We went to visit our friends Magnus Leijon, Håkan Norberg and Annika Forsberg over at the radio show P4 Morgon to play the custom made theme song we wrote for the show. ...and while at it, we stayed and performed The Logo, It's a Miracle and The Pilot too...

video blog # 7 live at Up North Festival
The first encore from the
"Love Up North" festival in Sundsvall, Sweden. A short clip of "Story
behind the story" and then (for the first time ever live) a stripped down
version of "Perfect Plan".
The Confusions will shot the video for new single "Strangers"
during the weekend 12-13 September, Johan Lehman and team will be in charge of
the video.
The Confusions will be the opening act and perfom live
at the new festival "Love
Up North" at the 17th of October, at Stadshuset
in Sundsvall.

Ett spelsuget The Confusions lyfte taket i lördags på
Våningen. Det maffiga introt när bandet kliver upp på scen ger
en bild av hur resten av spelningen blir. Nämligen fantastisk.
Jag och
publiken bjuds bara på färska låtar från den nya skivan
"The story behind the story". Och det syns att bandet har längtat
efter att få spela upp sina nya låtar. Energin vill aldrig ta slut.
Bandet skulle behöva en större scen, inte för att man är sex
medlemmar utan för att ingen står still, det hoppas, knuffas och det
smittar av sig på publiken. Gitarristen, Fredrik Hast hänger i taket
skriker så man tror pulsådern i halsen ska spricka. Jag är imponerad,
vilket jävla ös!

Bandet har ett eget sound, det är skönt
och snyggt. Det är lite gnälligt och man kan höra vemodet men det
ändå så förlösande på något sätt.
Jag ryser när bandet spelar en av sina mer experimentella låtar "The
Logo", bäst i kväll. Den handlar om att folk inte är medvetna
om vad de sätter på sig, vilket märke man har på bröstet.
Jag kommer stolt bära en The Confusions t-shirt utan problem efter denna
spelning.
Bandet försvinner från scen men de kommer tillbaka och
vi bjuds på hela tre extranummer. Men det räcker inte, jag vill ha
mer. Sista låten "Dead afternoon" är grym! Jag ryser för
andra gången i kväll. Ok, det låter lite som The Clash men det
skiter jag i. Jag är såld på The Confusions. Ställ bandet
på en scen. En stor scen på en sommarfestival och boka bandet nu.
Så jag vet vilken festivalstad jag ska besöka i sommar. Tack för
en grym spelning!

short weeks, The Confusions have received radio support for "The Pilot"
(from 2002) in some of the biggest markets;

Chicago, KUSF San Francisco, WFNX Boston, KNRK Portland and WRIF Detroit.
"The Pilot" is featured on XM radio with Billy Zero and have been
#1, two weeks in a row, on KATT Oklahoma City with Ferris O'Brien. The song
charted on the trade magazine FMQB's Specialty Charts reaching #14 on the Top
25 Singles and #16 Top 25 Albums.
The Confusions were featured as one of
the Top 5 bands for Bandnation.com (social networking site equivalent to MySpace)
and they have been featured in both the A&R Worldwide and hushhush ATTACK!
